Eye & Eyebrow
Due to having to cancel my recent upcoming holiday to Ibiza (poor me) I had a bit of money left after using what I had saved to book another holiday of-course and decided I wanted to get some new make-up bits and bobs.
Over the period of a month I have accumulated 20 make-up items, mainly face products a few eye/eyebrow and no lip as I have barely made a dent in the lip products I already have. So I thought I would make three separate posts, as all in one would be far to long.
So this post will include the eye and eyebrow products first as there is only 5 of them and the face products in the next two posts.
Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner
I'm not one to generally wear eyeliner as I'm a rather pale looking blonde and find it to harsh on myself, but recently I have wanted to give it a try and saw this in Boots. It comes in a small pot with a brush, just from looking at this I can tell it is a very very intense black. I haven't tried this yet and will need to master gel eyeliner before I do so.
Maybelline Brow Drama
Not to impresses with this, it doesn't have much colour pay off to begin with and throughout the day I notice it fades quite a bit. It seemed like a good idea but it just doesn't work for me without having to top up several times during the day.

Maybelline Go Colossal Mascara
Another Maybelline mascara I have tried, I didn't expect much as I have tried many others and didn't like then too much, but this I am surprised by. It doesn't clump my lashes like many of the others do, mainly the Rocket one. It leaves my lashes lovely and long and fluttery. I love it.
Bourjois 1 Second Volume Mascara
This is a new release from Bourjois, and I must say I am loving it. It has a funny looking brush with little spherical balls between each bristle which they claim is to wrap every lash. This makes my lashes look incredible, so long yet natural at the same time.
Sleek Eyebrow Stylus
This nifty little 'pen' is amazing. It has a brush on one end to shape your brows and wax on the other. When I first tried this I found the wax to be quite stiff so thought I would have to layer and layer the coulour but after time it warms up and leaves a lovely natural looking brow.
Sorry for the picture layout, I cant seem to rotate it! |
